This site is undergoing radical changes. I’m trying to get it to have a more magazine-like feel, something that’s more easily accessible for people. I’m trying to restore all the old content to its proper place. Have patience!

About Undercover New York
This site was created as a project to showcase the talents of New York’s amazing street performers, musicians and artists. Surprisingly, people who live in this overwhelming, dirty and grey (and fantastic) city often show bad feeling towards buskers, based mainly on the idea that they're scrounging. Well, busking is one of the oldest professions, it has started off the career of many famous people (from Benjamin Franklin and B.B. King to Blue Man Group and Bob Dylan) and brightened the day of thousands, EVERY day. New York City has a 365 day a year selection of the best street performers in the world! Which is why they're hired for weddings, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs and corporate events.
Enjoy these photos and videos, tip them always, and if you're interested in hiring them (or interviewing, or viewing, or just complimenting their work), you can find their profiles in the sidebar.
If you are a performer looking to add your own profile, you want to become the Absolute Ruler of your own little slice of New York (with respect to street performance) or if you just want to share with us some footage of a performer, artist or musician that you’ve seen on Manhattan’s streets, go to Get Involved! and follow the instructions. Note: there’s no money involved and no advertising, I'm doing all this for free. :)
Email me for further information, or visit me on my Website.
