Wow. The New York Times article about this creation is essential reading material if you’re going to go to see Os Gemeos‘ latest masterpiece on the corner of Houston and Bowery. Without it, you’re likely to miss a lot. I really couldn’t believe what I was looking at, once I’d gone through it from left to right. This is the kind of mural you could go to again and again, finding more each time, and learning from whomever else is giving it a look. With enough relatable imagery to keep any metaphor alive, this epic tale does not exclude any audience from enjoying it. With incredible detail and technique Os Gemeos, two Brazilian twins, have given you a reason for hope (go see the wall to see what I’m talking about).
It’ll be down in less than a year.
