Okay, this time I didn’t do such a good job. It’s terrible, really – it has been a long time since I last put any street performers up here. However, here’s the footage I took of this unknown jazz band. I’m thinking that should they chance upon this post, they’ll be able to tell us who they are, etc etc.

The real #$%^-up came in three parts:

1) I found them 6 hours into a set, so they were pretty tired
2) My audio recorder ran out of batteries halfway through, meaning that for the second half I had to rely on my camera’s mic
3) I didn’t ask their names.

I didn’t ask their names! And I was late to Shakespeare in the Park, opening night (tickets from a friend with after-party access, mwah hahahahaha!), so I couldn’t stick around. Monumental error. It’s as if I hadn’t done this before. How am I going to get a solid base of street performers who trust me (especially New York street performers who probably don’t trust anyone), if I am going to go and do stupid stuff like that? Ridiculous!
