Our Performers
To play to an orchestra-standard is a good argument for mankind’s near limitless potential to master their surroundings (viruses and volcanoes notwithstanding). But more than that, it is the dedication to their art that makes these super-humans different from the rest of us. The practice that goes into something so difficult, producing something so impressive, the sacrifices one makes, the adventure this puts you on, the stories that makes it worthwhile, the dangers, advice and luck, the technique, the sorrows…these are the fundamentals of watching an unbelievable performance.
With that in mind, I’ve created “Profile” pages. Whether you’re playing the guitar and harmonica on the subway for ten years, or you’re a breakdancing 8 year old, an old-time hustler/gambler, a professional pool player, or just tinkering at both, I want to know what drives you, what you’ve experienced and who you are. Combined, these profiles have the potential to break stereotypes, unite people and even to socialize or make business. Here is an opportunity for many of these wonderful talents to expand their audience past the edge of the sidewalk.
And if you have any additional information you want to put in, place it in the box at the end. I’m looking forward to meeting y’all,
Nick
